Floating Tonalite stone

The tonalite is a type of heavy granite found in mountain rocks of Valcamonica, an iconographic element of the territory. The work is intended to contradict the semantics of the stone, to distort the nature of this material and to disrupt the familiar environment: a block of rock floating in a pool of water. The work was produced using local tonalite and a CNC router.
