Performative action.
Various types of fabric, variable dimensions and depths, primer, acrilux and raw porcelain.
In the performative installation "The Magi", the canvas is used as a drum by the performers, the temporal duration of the performance is determined by the imagination of the performers who have been asked to imagine and transform the path from their home in Venice till the Sale warehouse, where they were performing, into a beat on canvas.
The composition of the canvases in space is given in reference to the key characters in the painting "Adoration of the Magi" by S. Botticelli.
The installation documents with the canvases impressed by the strokes of the performers, the synthesis of a path that tramples the earth guided by the stars.
